Polyoak made a donation of mattresses, blankets and tables and chairs to help uplift non-registered day care centres in the Western Cape.

Zainab Khatieb, from the Department of Social Services at the Western Cape Provincial Government, identified three day care centres that would benefit from Polyoak’s assistance.  “One of the goals of our department is to get these unregistered facilities up to a standard where they can be registered and then receive the government subsidy per pupil,” says Zainab Khatieb.

The donations of mattresses and tables and chairs were well received by Little Rascals (Ottery), Zeekoevlei Educare (Lotus River) and Happy Corner (Wynberg).
